I’ve always loved the colors and texture of aspen trees, especially the way their bark feels cool and smooth in my hand. The etched lines in this bracelet echo the tall trunks standing together in a grove.

Aspens share one root system, so even when one tree falls, new life pushes up from beneath the surface. People have also used the aspen for more than its beauty. Native Americans applied the powdery film from the bark as natural sun protection, which feels like a small reminder of the tree’s generosity.

This connection between the tree and the people who live with it makes the aspen meaningful to me, and it is the spirit I wanted to carry into this design. The dark patina on this bracelet highlights the depth and texture of the design, and a protective metal sealer helps preserve both the color and the details.

SIZING

Crafted from thick 14-gauge (1.6 mm) copper, this bracelet measures 1” wide by 6” long. It has a 1 1/4” opening at the back for easy slip-on access. The cuff is adjustable and fits most wrists from 5 3/4” to 6 3/4”, depending on your preferred fit. For the best fit, measure your wrist and feel free to reach out with any sizing questions.

To adjust the cuff, apply even pressure on both sides of the opening. Leave enough space for easy removal without it feeling too loose. Once the bracelet fits right, no more adjustments are needed. Frequent resizing can cause the metal to lose its shape. When putting it on or taking it off, slide the cuff sideways just above your wrist bone where the forearm is softer.
