Description
Featuring ethically sourced jewel beetle wings, these uniquely crafted earrings effortlessly stand out.
These eco-conscious earrings are crafted using jewel beetles harvested from Thailand’s forests, where they thrive for years. Following a natural lifecycle of mating, egg-laying in trees, and reaching their end, these beetles are sustainably collected by local communities, using them as a food source. Their wings, a byproduct, contribute to the creation of these unique pieces.
The wings’ iridescence, reflecting light through microscopic textures, showcases copper, orange, purple and green hues. Styled in a chandelier design, these earrings measure approximately 2 inches in length, with an additional 0.5-inch drop from the ear wire. Crafted from steel ear wires, they prioritize comfort and sensitivity.
