I create these 2.5 inch copper rounds with a simple goal in mind. I want them to feel warm, personal, and a little nostalgic. The cardinal is a symbol of connection. It is often said that a cardinal shows up when someone you love is near. This ornament is perfect for someone keeping a loved one close in spirit, or for anyone who values a peaceful holiday touch.
Each ornament is acid etched in my studio in Colorado, one at a time, so every piece has its own natural variations. My custom purple flash patina blends blues and purples that shift in the light with a soft, iridescent glow.
