Certain types of lilies boast certain meanings. For example, white lilies symbolize purity and simplicity, while day lilies are associated with flirtation and romance. Tiger lilies symbolize both royalty and wealth, while the lily of the valley is the epitome of sweetness. Although their fragrance is enjoyed by most, they’re highly toxic to cats.
The turquoise and dark patinas emphasize the design and give the pendant a weathered look. I have applied a metal sealer to help preserve the colors.
To achieve the design on the pendant, I have used an acid etching technique. Years of experimenting with and fine tuning the process has led to the intricate details you see here.
This necklace is a great compliment for many outfits. You can dress it up or wear it casual.
The medallion measures 1″ long x 0.5″ wide. The necklace features a fine curb chain in antique copper color. It measures 16″ long and is adjustable.
