Sizing & Care

Taking care of your GaleForce Design Jewelry is just as important as enjoying its unique style. This guide will help you keep your pieces looking their best and feeling special for years to come.

Earrings

The front of GaleForce Design earrings is sealed to keep their colors and details looking great with no upkeep. Treat them like any special jewelry, and they’ll effortlessly retain their quality and longevity.

Keep them away from water, lotions, sprays, and other substances to maintain their quality and longevity. As the earrings age naturally, the nickel-free ear wires and other components will develop a unique patina, adding to their character over time.

If you want to keep the ear wires shiny, gently polish them with a soft cloth. Avoid submerging your earrings in polishing solutions or using a polishing cloth on the front to protect the seal and colors.

Bracelet Sizing

Most of my cuffs are made from thick 14-gauge (1.6 mm) copper. The standard size is 1″ wide by 6″ long, with a 1.25” opening in the back for easy on and off. These cuffs are adjustable and usually fit wrists between 5 3/4” and 7 3/4”, depending on how snug or loose you like your fit.

For the best fit, measure your wrist with a soft tape measure. If you’re unsure, measure a bracelet you already love to see if the standard 6″ length works for you. Custom sizing is available on request, and fees may apply.

Measuring with a Soft Tape Measure

  1. Wrap the soft tape measure around the widest part of your wrist, over the top of your wrist bone.
  2. Keep it snug but not tight so it’s comfortable.
  3. Note the measurement in inches.
  4. This helps you pick the bracelet size that will fit best.

Measuring with a Piece of Paper

  1. Wrap a strip of paper around the widest part of your wrist, over your wrist bone.
  2. Mark where the paper overlaps with a pen or pencil.
  3. Lay the paper flat and measure from the edge to the mark with a ruler.
  4. This measurement is your wrist circumference for sizing your bracelet.

Adjusting Your Cuff

Gently apply even pressure on both sides of the cuff opening to adjust. Leave enough space for easy removal without it being too loose. Frequent bending isn’t recommended, as it can misshapen and harden the metal over time.

Slide the bracelet on sideways above your wrist bone (not over) for easier wear.

Important Note

Using other sizing or wearing methods can make the bracelet misshapen or uncomfortable. Check the image and video below for guidance.

Following these care and fitting tips will help your GaleForce Design bracelet stay comfortable for years. For any questions, please reach out.
