Taking care of your GaleForce Design Jewelry is as essential as appreciating its unique beauty. Therefore, this jewelry care guide will help ensure your pieces retain their luster and character over time. Explore the guidelines below to keep your jewelry looking its best.
EARRINGS
The front side of GaleForce Design earrings is expertly sealed to maintain their appearance with minimal upkeep. This sealing process ensures your earrings require virtually no maintenance. Treat them like any special jewelry, and they’ll effortlessly retain their quality and longevity.
Keep it away from water, lotions, sprays, and other substances to maintain their quality and longevity. As the earrings age naturally, the nickel-free ear wires and other components will develop a unique patina, adding to their character over time.
If you wish to maintain the ear wires’ shine, simply polish them gently using a soft cloth. However, avoid submerging the earrings in polishing solutions and refrain from using a polishing cloth on the front side to protect the seal and colors.

Bracelet Sizing
Most of my cuffs are crafted from thick 14-gauge (1.6 mm) copper. The standard bracelet size measures 1″ W x 6” L with a 1.25” opening in the back for easy wrist access. These cuffs are adjustable and typically accommodate wrist sizes ranging from 5 3/4” to 7 3/4”, depending on your preference for a snug or loose fit.
To ensure the perfect fit, I recommend measuring your wrist with a soft tape measure. If you’re unsure of your size, measure a bracelet you love to see if the standard 6″ length works for you. Custom sizing is available upon request, with potential fees.
Measuring with a Soft Tape Measure:
- Begin by wrapping the soft tape measure around the widest part of your wrist, over the top of your wrist bone.
- Ensure that the tape measure is snug but not too tight, allowing for a comfortable fit.
- Take note of the measurement in inches or centimeters, depending on the units marked on the tape measure.
- This measurement will help you determine the size of the bracelet that will best fit your wrist.
Measuring with a Piece of Paper:
- Take a strip of paper and wrap it around the widest part of your wrist, over the top of your wrist bone.
- Mark the point where the paper overlaps with a pen or pencil.
- Lay the paper flat and use a ruler to measure the length from the edge of the paper to the marked point.
- This measurement represents the circumference of your wrist and can be used to determine the appropriate bracelet size.
By following the tips in this jewelry care guide, you can ensure that your bracelet fits perfectly and remains a cherished piece in your collection.
Adjusting Your Cuff
To adjust the cuff, apply even pressure on both sides of the opening. Be sure to leave a sufficient but comfortable amount of space for easy removal without it being too loose. Frequent adjustments to metal jewelry aren’t recommended, as they can weaken the piece over time.
Slide the bracelet on sideways above your wrist bone for easier wear and removal.
Important Note
Using other methods for sizing or wearing the bracelet may make it misshapen and uncomfortable. Refer to the image and video below for reference and demonstration.
