Description
These handmade copper earrings feature a butterfly design that symbolizes transformation and renewal. Butterflies often represent the strength it takes to move through life’s shifts with openness and resilience. They’re a reminder that growth can unfold in its own time and still feel hopeful and beautiful.
I acid etch the design into the copper and finish it with my purple flash iridescent patina. The colors shift from purple to blue depending on the light, giving the butterflies a soft sense of motion. I seal the front to protect the finish. The back slowly develops its own natural patina, adding depth and character as the earrings age.
Each earring measures 1.125 inches round with a 0.5 inch drop from the ear wire. They pair easily with both casual and dressy outfits.
